Blossom Centre, a school project of The Arijah Children’s Foundation of Anguilla, was dedicated on Tuesday evening this week at Auckland House, the Law Building of Kentish & Associates at The Quarter, where it is housed.

The prayer of dedication was led by Pastor Cecil Richardson of the Central Baptist Church and Director of the Central Christian School.

Caribbean Cable Communications is helping to make the season brighter for one Anguilla charity that is making a difference in the community through its work with special needs children.

At the opening celebration for its new home at The Blossom Centre on 21 December, the Arijah Children’s Foundation was presented with a cheque for US$1,000 from Caribbean Cable Communications.

The spectacular parade of motorcyclists throughout Anguilla on Saturday, November 13, dubbed “Bike ride of the Year”, had two objectives. One was a charitable undertaking to raise funds for the Arijah Children Foundation in Anguilla. The second was simply for the love of the sport of motor-cycle riding on many bikes of the highest standard and attractiveness.

A Beautiful Celebration of Life for A Beautiful Cause

The Arijah Children’s Foundation is delighted to announce George Gordon’s return to Anguilla to again perform in concert to benefit the Foundation.

“A Beautiful Celebration of Life for A Beautiful Cause” is presented by Chapelights Ministry, Arijah Children’s Foundation and Church of God (Holiness). Featuring renowned Jamaican gospel singer George Gordon and a number of talented local artists including Blaze of Praise and Shekinah and back by popular request “All About Him” drama performed by Church of God (Holiness) youth at District Talent 2009.

Speech Pathologist Denise Dougherty visited Anguilla to work with the Arijah Children’s Foundation. The Indiana, Pennsylvania, Special Needs Expert visited the island last July 2009 on the invitation of head of the Foundation, Renuka Harrigan.
